Seattle Sewer Company uses a state-of-the-art video inspection camera to gather visual information about the condition of your sewer line. With these cameras we are able to look in your pipes and see exactly what’s going on. This is the first and most important step in solving your sewer problems.
First, the licensed plumbers at Seattle Sewer Company look for a point of access to the sewer line. A flexible rod with a camera on the end is inserted into your pipes. Most cameras are equipped to work in pipes between 2 inches to 36 inches in diameter. Since the rod is flexible, it can be fed through the pipes by a professional technician, even going around corners. Using real-time video transmission, our technicians are able to see everything going on in your pipes and closely inspect any breaks or blockages in the sewer pipe line cutting the guesswork out of your sewer repair. The entire sewer inspection is digitally recorded and can also be saved for later review.
